I have been working as a dental assistant for a little over a year now, and so far I like my job very much. My job has actually made me consider getting into the field of dentistry—not merely as a dental hygienist, but as a fulltime dentist. Working part-time as a dental assistant was just a means to pay the rent, but now it has made me realize what I want to do in the future.
